2023 Food Drive - Stuff a Squad!
As we enter the season of giving, the Barrington Fraternal Order of Police is once again looking to help those in our community who find themselves in need. We will be collecting non-perishable food items in the lobby of the Barrington Police Department until mid-December (12/17/23).
We will also be collecting donations in person today at Jewel-Osco on 11/17/23 from 8am-4pm.
All items and money received will be donated, benefiting local food pantries and the countless people they serve.
Some items that are specifically requested:
- Instant coffee (small/medium jars) and Tea Bags (green and black)
- Flour & granulated white sugar, brown sugar
- Dried beans, lentils, white, black & split peas, and macaroni & cheese
- Cereal and oatmeal
- Spices—garlic, onion powder, cumin, chili powder, dill, coriander, curry
- Fish in individually sealed packets
- Powdered milk (packets)
- Juice—tomato, V8, and apple
Last year, thanks to the community's generosity, we collected almost 2,000 lbs of food! Can you help us collect more than that this year?
Thank you in advance for your help and support! We look forward to updating you soon on the success of our Food Drive!
